Imagine what can be.
That is what my Parents and Professors, however reluctantly, passed on to me. But, think about it.
Imagine what could be.
With the twist of a brush, a well-structured line, a simple gesture, we create amazing forms of Visual Communication. A beautiful sense of Self-Identity, shared.
I am obsessed with Art and Design; All Forms, Movements, Styles, and Periods. As a kid, my room and notebooks were littered with early attempts, from drawings, to Basic code. I read books on Artists, Designers, Computers, Color Theory, and the ideas of the proverbial “Brand Gods.” From every technique to every tool, Art and Design are a constant source of inspiration.
My cross-over between Art and Design is based on a fascination with visual language and the ability to communicate a complex semantic meaning with a beautiful aesthetic. Structure, Color, Text, Graphics, all combine to communicate a complex message, with the interesting aspect of influence.
My work is comprised of a blend of traditional Art, formal Graphic Design, and Technology as a design tool. Where the traditional forms help set the content, the design sets layout, and technology provides an evolving set of tools for creation and presentation. The addition of the social community allows for another entire audience to become engaged.
Art is a wonderful tool for attracting attention to goals and fostering effective change. Every day we are confronted with imagery engineered to “sell” people on Product and Purpose. Those simple and complex methods are not by random chance. This blend of cross-discipline experience can fuse a complicated situation into a solution-driven, holistic, measurable result.
I truly believe this:
Design is a choice. To ignore its relationship to the consumer is to place at risk a brand or a business. Solid, experienced creative, coupled with accurate design, can turn dreams into solutions.
Dreams can become goals. Dreams can become solutions.
